How to play JellySplit
Swap two jellies. Start a pop. Watch the chain unfold.
This guide covers the upcoming 2.0 app for iPhone and iPad. The App Store currently offers version 1.4.4.
The basics

Swap two neighbors
Tap two neighboring jellies, or drag one onto the other. Each swap changes the colors that touch.
- 2
Make a split
A jelly splits where it touches its own color. Look for a swap that puts matching colors around a jelly.

Start a pop
When a jelly splits in three directions, it pops with connected jellies of the same color.
- 4
Follow the chain
Jellies fall into the empty spaces. If they form another match, they pop again and continue the chain.
Campaign
Reach the target score within the move limit.
- Play through 100 levels. Every swap uses one move.
- Popped jellies earn points for their splits. Chain waves multiply those points, and clearing a color gives a bonus.
- After you reach the target, unused moves trigger bonus bursts automatically.
- Your final score, including bonus bursts, determines your stars. A win that uses an extra chance earns one star. Replay levels to improve your score.
Try this: Look beyond the first pop. A swap that sets up falling matches can build a longer chain.
Arcade
Build the highest score before the clock runs out.
- Choose a 5 × 6 or 7 × 8 board. Each size has its own online leaderboard.
- Your first swap starts the clock. Popped jellies and chains add seconds.
- Later chain waves add score bonuses. Popping two colors in the first wave and clearing a color also add bonuses.
- Waves 2 and 3 increase the challenge. Pause hides the board until you resume.
- An optional extra chance adds five seconds. Runs with this extension are excluded from online rankings.
Try this: Use the time before your first swap to examine the board and plan your opening move.
Daily Puzzle
Clear every jelly within the move limit.
- A new puzzle arrives each day at midnight on your device.
- Plan the order of your swaps. Falling jellies can set up a later move.
- No new jellies enter these puzzles. Your goal is an empty board.
- Use Undo to take back a move or Reset to start again. Both are free.
Try this: Check where each color will fall after a pop. The order of your swaps can change the result.
Clear the Board
Choose a puzzle and remove every jelly in one to five swaps.
- Explore 100 puzzles across five difficulty levels, from easy to extremely hard.
- All 100 puzzles are unlocked from the start. Choose any puzzle in the library.
- The rules match Daily Puzzle: clear the board within the move limit, with no new jellies.
- Undo and Reset are free. Your progress and unfinished puzzle are saved on your device.
Try this: Start with the easy puzzles to learn how each pop changes the next move, then choose a harder level.
Hints and extra chances
Daily Puzzle and Clear the Board have hints to help you find a move. You start with five free hints. An optional rewarded ad gives three more. Undo and Reset are free.
Campaign offers an extra chance of three more moves. Arcade offers five more seconds. You can use an optional rewarded ad for the extra chance when one is available. A Campaign win with an extra chance earns one star. An extended Arcade run is excluded from online rankings.
The optional one-time Remove Ads purchase removes ads, gives unlimited hints, and includes an ad-free extra chance. Earlier JellySplit Pro buyers can use Restore purchases in Settings to receive these benefits.
Play at your pace
All four modes work offline after installation. Progress is saved on your device. Online leaderboards, ads, and purchases need an internet connection. The app includes a guided tutorial with moves to try.
