How to play JellySplit Classic
Classic is JellySplit's fast score-chase mode. Your goal is to keep making valuable swaps before the timer expires, turning small groups into bursts, bursts into chains, and chains into a better leaderboard score.
Short answer
Swap adjacent jellies to create same-color connections. Connected jellies split and score. Fully split groups burst, refill the board, and can cascade into more bursts. Bigger chains add more points and more time.
Classic rules
Swap neighboring jellies
Pick two adjacent jellies on the hex board and swap them. A good swap creates more same-color neighbors than it breaks.
Build connected groups
Same-color neighbors add split lines. Bigger connected groups create more splits and a stronger score gain.
Trigger bursts and cascades
When a group becomes fully split, it bursts. New jellies fall in, and the next burst can continue the chain reaction.
Keep the timer alive
Classic runs end when the timer runs out. Valuable bursts and chains add time, so the best runs balance speed with setup quality.

The best Classic swaps are not always the fastest visible points. Look for groups that are close to becoming fully split, because one burst can refill the board and create the next burst for free.
When the timer is healthy, spend an extra moment finding a stronger setup. When the timer is low, prioritize any reliable burst that adds time and keeps the run alive.
